Book a slot to enroll in a 1-2-1 tutorial, learning how to code a simple computer game
How does it work?
The class will take place over Google Hangouts with one of our qualified tutors. When you sign up we will send you an email with a link. All you need to do is turn up 10 minutes before to make sure we are set up properly and can start on time.Over the course of the hour, your tutor will take you through a step-by-step guide to creating the game 'Hungry Cat' or 'Dodgeball'.
Who needs to be present?
This is a class for a parent and child, so you will need to be present to help guide them from your end.
Do I need any special equipment?
All you need is a laptop or desktop computer. (A tablet or phone is much harder to use for the tutorial).
Do I need to do anything beforehand?
It's not necessary to have any prior knowledge of coding. However, if you are no experience of Scratch or coding, the tutorial is likely to go much smoother if you take the time to read through the Introduction to Scratch which we will send you once you've booked yourself in.
